Mohuishou reported on April 15 that Sling TV (Internet TV set-top box) added support for Microsoft Edge browser last week, which means that Windows 10 users can view Sling TV media directly from the Edge browser without opening the Sling TV application.

Mr. Jimshade Chaudhari (Vice President of Product Management, Sling TV) stated: “Whether it’s on the big screen at home or on the mobile device you take with you on the go, we will continue to provide you with your favorite live and on-demand channels. Today, we are extending our device platform with Microsoft’s Edge browser to give you another option to watch Sling TV on your Windows 10 device. Windows 10 users do not need to leave the Edge browser, just visit the official Sling site to start watching Sling TV.”

Some users may know that Sling TV has added support for Google Chrome browser as early as 2017. Therefore, Microsoft Edge browser supports Sling TV later than Google.
